Bathrooms
Bathroom renovations, including what is behind the tile.
A bathroom is judged by the tile and fails behind it. Young renovates bathrooms the same way every time: open it up, deal with what is found, build it properly, show you before it closes.

What happens before the tile.
A bathroom renovation starts with demolition. If there is mold, Young cleans it first: he sprays, leaves it to dry for a day, and sprays again. It costs about two days, and he does it because it is better to kill the mold than to cover it. Then the walls are built back up with cement board, with a framed niche where the shower needs one.

The walkthrough before it closes.
Before the tile goes on, Young walks you through the wall and floor as they stand. Those stages are photographed and the record is handed to you at the end.

The finish.
Grey wood-grain tiles with a mosaic floor and a recessed niche, a tiled tub surround, a bathroom with veined stone walls and a freestanding tub, large veined stone floor tiles.

How long a bathroom takes.
Typically two to three weeks if everything goes smoothly, plus about two days if mold needs treating first. It depends on how bad the existing condition is, and Young tells you what he finds as he finds it.
Start with a site visit.
Young comes to your home, looks at the job and listens. The visit is free. You leave knowing what the next step is.
